Local Phone Service For Your Business!
AT&T IP Flexible Reach
|
AT&T IP Flexible Reach is the service within the AT&T Business VoIP product
portfolio designed to deliver any-distance outbound and inboud (local) calling
over AT&T's IP and VPN services. It is targeted to customers with their own
premises telephony (TDM or IP PBX) equipment. IP Flexible Reach provides "trunk
service" over integrated access. Customers who wish to also obtain "line-side"
PBX-like telephony features would instead choose the Voice DNA service with the
Business VoIP portfolio.
AT&T IP Flexible Reach provides local, US long distance and international voice
and fax calling over the AT&T Global MPLS Network. AT&T IP Flexible Reach service
gives customers the ability to more efficiently manage their voice services,
provides the service platform for adding value-added services such as network based
IP telephony, and allows merging IP applications such as conferencing, messaging and
multi-media onto their data networks, as they become available.
AT&T supports integration of customers' voice and data applications by leveraging
their data services including MIS (Managed Internet Service) or MPLS PNT (Service
MPLS Private Network Transport).
AT&T's IP Flexible Reach provides a robust set of features, including Local, US
Domestic Long Distance and International calling, delivered via AT&T's advanced
VoIP infrastructure. This service offers three calling plans as described in the
Service Types section: US IP LD (plan A), Local and Long Distance (plan B) and Local
and Long Distance Package (plan C).
At this time the AT&T IP Flexible Reach services, as described in this guide, address
new and existing customers for US-based MIS or MPLS PNT service who are seeking an
integrated communications solution and true one stop shopping for their voice and data
communications.
The existing legacy VoIP on MIS, VoIP on MPLS PNT and VoIP on AVTS services as well as
VoIP on MRS services will continue to be supported, providing the equivalent of LD
(domestic and international) only service and are over the legacy VoIP architecture.
Customers with global locations can continue to be supported with the current VoIP
on EVPN service but will not have all the features described in this guide until a
later release.
